Pet Wants became more than a business for me; it became a mission. After losing my dog, Darby Michelle to lymphoma, my heart was shattered. She was my constant companion, my best friend, and the kind of dog that leaves a mark on your life forever. When I later learned that the food I had been giving her might have played a role in her illness, I was devastated. That moment changed everything.

In Darby’s honor, I set out on a new path: one focused on education, better nutrition, and helping pets live healthier, longer, happier lives. Pet Wants gives me the platform to do exactly that. Through fresher food, honest support, and real community connection, I’m committed to making sure pet parents have this in my community.

Darby passed in April 2022, but her impact continues to guide me every single day. This business is her legacy and my promise to help other pets thrive.
